"Good morning, my little lion!" his mom said, giving him a big hug. "Are you ready for an adventure?" Leo mumbled, "Is the doctor's office really an adventure?"

When they arrived, the waiting room was bright and colorful. There were toy blocks and books! Leo almost forgot his worries while building a tall tower.

Soon, a friendly voice called, "Leo? Dr. Bloom is ready for you!" Leo's heart did another little flutter, but he held his mom's hand tightly.

Dr. Bloom had a warm smile and kind eyes. "Hello, Leo! It's so nice to meet you," she said. "We're going to make sure you're growing super strong!"

First, Dr. Bloom measured how tall Leo was. "Wow, you're growing like a beanstalk!" she exclaimed. Leo giggled.

Then, she listened to his heart with a cool stethoscope. "Thump-thump, thump-thump," she whispered. "Your heart is singing a happy song!"

She even looked inside his ears with a tiny light. "All clear!" she announced. "Ready to hear all the wonderful sounds in the world!"

Before he knew it, the checkup was done! Dr. Bloom gave him a sticker and said, "You were so brave, Leo! See you next year!"

Leo walked out holding his mom's hand, feeling much bigger and braver. Going to the doctor wasn't scary at all, it was just another way to learn about how amazing his body was!
